Lehi resident Spc. Quin Allred was drafted after returning home from a proselytizing LDS mission in 1967 and eventually served with the U.S. Army Security Agency. A 40-year nondisclosure agreement prevented Allred from telling his children what he did in Vietnam. They thought their father was a truck driver.
